We cooperated with Marine Biomedical Research Institute of Qingdao to establish the “Nutrition and Health Product Innovation R&D Center” to develop high-end domestic Antarctic krill oil,and build a benchmark for domestic Antarctic krill oil industry.
It was founded by Ocean University of China on the basis of National Marine Pharmaceutical Engineering Technology Research Center and the Ocean University of China, School of Medicine and Pharmacy. The founder Guan Huashi, is a famous marine pharmacist and academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering With an area of 12,800 square meters, the Institute is equipped with international advanced and domestic first-class instruments. It now employs 3 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, 1 academician of the American Academy of Engineering, 1 specially-invited expert of the Yangtze River scholar of the Ministry of Education, 2 specially-invited experts of the National “Thousand Talents Program”, 2 outstanding young scientists of the National Natural Science Foundation, 4 excellent young scholars of Excellent Young Scientists Fund and 4 Taishan scholars.
